Indestructible Fighting Knife from Rusty Spring. FeRO Knives
At 1/4 thick with a stout saber grind, this full tang, full guard, fighter is virtually indestructible! I'm sure you could break it if you really tried, but this is thicker than a pry bar and half the length. With that said, it's perfectly balanced and razor sharp. Couple that with incredible ergonomics, and you've got the ideal hard use knife!

How to Install a USFS Spark Arrestor onto a Dominator GP1
Переглядів 3036 місяців тому
The Dominator GP1 is a great budget minded option for the Yamaha Tenere 700. It's small, light weight, and sounds great. However, Dominator doesn't offer a USFS spark arrestor option, and that's a big deal if you like to take your T7 off road. Thankfully, FMF sells a high quality USFS approved spark arrestor for a reasonable price, and with a little bit of ingenuity and elbow grease, you can fi...
Dominator GP1 vs Stock. Yamaha Tenere 700
Переглядів 8546 місяців тому
The Dominator GP1 is a very budget friendly choice for the Yamaha T7. At the moment, this pipe is only $180 which is a fraction of the cost of other name brand offerings. It's nicely constructed from stainless steel, fits well, weighs significantly less than stock, and best of all, sounds great. I would absolutely recommend this pipe, with the caveat that you find a way to install a USFS spark ...

Tenere 700 Bought Sight Unseen. Regrets?

In my neck of the woods, finding a Yamaha Tenere 700 for anywhere close to MSRP is nearly impossible. When the opportunity presented itself to purchase one new for a reasonable price, I jumped on it. After riding the Tenere for a few months and covering multiple types of terrain, the questions begs to be answered, did I buy the right bike? I've had a lot of different dual sports in the past, le...

ive been unsure to buy the drillpress from WEN is it worth the money or should I save for something that will cost more?

What was the thickness of that steel? And what kind of steel was it? Thanks for the great video
@@Unclelarry766abc thank you. I don't remember the exact thickness, but I'm guessing the blade steel is 15n20.
machetes are not sold Sharpen. The short ones are for yard work and the long ones for Heavy bushwacking and for Working on Sugar Cane Plantations.
@@pabloenriquechavesmonsalve4786 if you buy a machete in North America, it's sharpened from the factory. It will also have even grind lines, and the edges won't be burnt so the heat treatment is still intact.

Hi mate good job on those loves and handles. Nice video. I want to gety first knife but not sure if I want a wood handle vs a Micarta one... Any advice?
@@FaisalKhan-xy1dv thanks, much appreciated. I much prefer wood. It's not as easy to work with, but I love the natural results and they're generally not as toxic as the synthetic stuff.
Incredibly quiet gun with a suppressor. Literally half as loud as my BB gun.

@@MyAK47 interesting thought. Gun bought new, doesn't work worth a damn. Some minor mods, and it functions as it should. Definitely my fault right? Everyone knows Taurus is synonymous with reliability, excellence, and amazing quality control.

*Terribly ugly. Neither a file nor a knife. It's a waste of a nice antler. I wouldn't pick it up if I found it on the street. It looks like it was made in Russia.*

It's a shame manufacturers don't go the extra mile to do all of these things in the factory. I saw another UA-camr had the same problem with the magazine--rounds getting blocked by nosing-down into the front edge. He too did some cleaning of it (didn't lubricate) and that fixed it. But that was only one of his magazines. The other one worked fine.
I love it! Beautiful work.
@@sifumikezielinski2238 thank you!

As soon as you started talking about it being a hobby first I subscribed! Kudos! I let folks know it's a hobby and not a business. I re-invest the money from any knife that I sell into shop tools so it's really a not for profit thing. My shop grows.👍

I bought my first Taurus TX22 ten days ago. I added Lucas Slick wax to the magazines, after drying, I loaded them with 16 rounds each. Then I took apart the gun, cleaned and polished the ramp. Today is Saturday July 13, 2024. Took it to the Range shot 150 rounds and not one malfunction. You must not be loading those magazines properly. I only have my right arm and this gun is easy to operate and a smooth shooter. Something you not doing right.
@@alfonsobenitez8574 watch my follow up video. I fixed the reliability issues with mine. It had nothing to do with how I was loading the magazines.
This gun can't be too accurate at 50 yard. That is ridiculous.
WOW! I was blown away how much it looks exactly the Thompson Nicola area I live in.
I just bought a Taurus TX22 last week. Hopefully mine works well when I take it to the Range. July 10, 2024
Have you tried smoking meat with one burner and a smoke tube and the meat on the opposite side with the burner off?
I haven't. I use this grill for quick foods like hotdogs, sausages, burgers, and the occasional chicken thigh. If I'm going to smoke something, I'll use a different grill. I do love this little thing for how fast and easy it is.
Its cool you are still using the Mr. Volcano. I bought one a few years ago and I'm finally going to put it together. I was wondering what you think of it and if there is any flaws that are worth noting? I ask this because a blacksmith once told me that the regulators from online forges like the Mr. Volcano could be faulty.
They use the cheapest Chinese regulators, and they absolutely can be faulty. Thankfully, the three that I've used around the shop work perfectly, and are incredibly cheap to replace. For the price, the Mr volcano can't be beat. It's not the best quality, but it works great for the type of work I do. It can get to forge welding temps, but if you're looking to do larger billets of Damascus or large San Mai, it's not going to be a good fit.
@@ironridgeoutdoors Thanks for the tips. Also if I were to replace the regulators would it be able to get to higher temps? Or is it something else that is not a good fit for working with Damascus or large billets?
@@kraftenator9965 the psi of the regulator is not the limiting factor. It's the quality of the insulation.
@@ironridgeoutdoors ok thanks.
I own two of these. Parents got me Them as a kid when they went paint balling. To me it was immense! ^^ Tube loader in the top. Also the really unobvious safety catch (black square above the trigger)
THE COLOMBIAN ONES GOT THAT TRAMONTINA TING SOUND TO IT I SAY THATS THE BETTER CUTTER
WHY DONT YOU BUNDLE THE SAGE AND SELL IT THATS MONEY YOUR CUTTING
It's not the edible type of sage. Not really worth anything.
Exactly what I was looking for! Thanks!
My pleasure! Glad it helped.
Very nice!

Awesome tool Looks incredible as well as indestructible
Thanks!
How did you get that perma blue so even? Mine always looks like yours did when you first applied it 😮
After each application, I scrub with 00 steel wool and rinse in water. It takes about 5-6 applications to get an even coat.
Well done! Very nice knife! If it would help, wool dobbers from amazon, to apply cold blue. I subscribed.
That probably would be a lot faster then Q-tips. Thanks for the advice!

Thanks. Good call, I usually have my leather apron on to cover those.

Thank you, much appreciated!
I’m going through this comparison now. Owned the Glock, bought a 4.5 XDM Elite. If I let go of one, it will be the Glock. Ask me again after a few more range days. First impression was I shot the Springfield much better.
Very nice camera work, up close and personal , also great trigger job, how come you didn't disassemble the bolt before grinding and polishing. Keep more coming and let us know what the trigger pull ended up at in lb.👍👍👍👍
Thanks you. I probably should have fully disassembled the bolt prior, though I did after the work was done and completely cleaned every part.
Whoops are super close together and actually pretty annoying 😅
Haha I know it, I just felt wrong calling these little things "jumps"
U did NOT demonstrate how to utilize the burners. The picture showed them both completely open at the top air inlet, does the bottom also stay open? to get forge hotter does the air inlets get closed?
This was an assembly video, not an instructional video on how to utilize the forge. Look up oxidizing vs reducing flame to understand how to use the burners.
Mine won’t dry fire unless I cock it each time
Machetes come blunt for safety reasons. Any guy who calls himself a knife guy knows how to sharpen a machete. Don’t expect straight blades on working tools, they’re not high end knives. Also, machetes come unsharpened near the handle so they can be carried easily, they also get tucked into belts and you don’t want certain parts sharp. Those machetes are fine for what they are. Your square end machete is called a Tapanga, the upside down curved one is called a billhook. The first and second one you pulled out are Latin style machetes, the other is a Panga.
Yes, I know full well how to sharpen an edge. Most machetes bought in the states come with working edges though, so that's what I'm accustomed to. Also, that doesn't excuse the poor craftsmanship on each of these blades. The burnt edges, uneven primary bevels and wavy blades are not present on the competition. A $7 Ozark trails machete from Walmart outshines these in every way.
If you can afford them, keep both. I have the glock 40 and really like it. But after your video I may buy tge other one
The XDm is a great gun. There are a few other interesting options out there now. The SIG and the S&W would be fun to try out.
Have you tried the Friskars Black Blade one
I have not. My Walmart machete is still going strong.
